I never saw the backside of the Pacific Ocean. Save for this momentous hike, I never knew about the existence of the Point Bonita Lighthouse. This is the bridge that spans two cliffs. Once at the Lighthouse, you can’t help but to stare at the powerful waves crashing against the shoreline.
Suspend acknowledgement of a dirty sensor, too much light and addiction to HDR for inappropriate moments—this photo rocks! Look at how they stare at the beautiful island with amazement. This was the first time stepping foot on the island, much less hiking on its beautiful trails. Our ferry ride afforded a view that’s invisible from anywhere else and we knew it was our only opportunity to enjoy the sight.
