I set my camera for long exposure, and amused myself by tinkering with some of the camera settings. In this mode, everything appears desaturated except for red colors. Image was captured from the Marin Headlands.
This lone tunnel leads to one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the Bay Area. I like how it appears that the rock surrounding the corridor forms a natural frame. In fact, two frames are visible.
I never saw the backside of the Pacific Ocean. Save for this momentous hike, I never knew about the existence of the Point Bonita Lighthouse. This is the bridge that spans two cliffs. Once at the Lighthouse, you can’t help but to stare at the powerful waves crashing against the shoreline.
I got lucky! No tripod, using the pole barriers and listening carefully to a photography teacher instructing his students.
