Probably the most deserted hiking trail I’ve ever encountered. Behind the hills exist a very wide open field.
Small waterfalls popped up everywhere. This photograph was taken after a recent rainstorm. A fellow hiker mentioned that the scenery reminded him of Oregon.
This shaded spot of lush tree branches, combined with the low morning sun, allowed for a brilliant display of sunshine through the leaves.
Upon entering Mission Peak park, a pair of open gates greet us through which the morning sun smiles back.
